Ingredients

2 cups crushed pretzels
¾ cup melted butter
3 tablespoons sugar
1 (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
1 cup sugar
1 (8 oz) whipped topping, thawed
2 packets (3 oz) strawberry Jell-O
2 cups boiling water
2 packs (10 oz) frozen strawberries

Method

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
Mix crushed pretzels, melted butter, and 3 tablespoons sugar until well combined. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish. Bake for 8–10 minutes until set, then let it cool.
In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese with 1 cup sugar until smooth. Fold in the whipped topping and spread evenly over the cooled crust.
Dissolve the Jell-O in boiling water, then stir in the frozen strawberries and let it thicken slightly. Pour this layer over the cream cheese mixture.
Refrigerate for at least 2 hours until set.
            Slice and serve chilled.
